Origin: Dr. Guo's formula.
Possibly the most frequently used formula in Guo's practice,
Y-JXY is based on the classic formulas Xiao Yao Wan and
Jia Wei Xiao Yao Wan (JXY). Through clinical experience,
Guo discovered that these two classic formulas were not
adequate for most of his patients in the U.S. who commonly
complain of stress and unbalanced moods. According to TCM
theory, these problems commonly lead to extra Heat, Blood
Stagnation, and Yin Deficiency. Y-JXY, unlike its classic
counterparts, effectively addresses all three of these
conditions.
