In recent years, many Chinese-English dictionaries of traditional Chinese medicine have been published. Although they include acupuncture terms, the dictionaries generally provide only limited numbers of terms and therefore cannot meet the needs of acupuncture specialists. Professor Shuai, the author, is an eminent English specialist for traditional Chinese medicine and has frequently been in charge of English translation for international acupuncture conferences. This practical English dictionary of acupuncture contains over 3,000 entries. It is an important resource for students and practitioners of TCM.
