Acupuncture therapy is an important component of Chinese traditional medicine and has a time-honored history of more than 2,000 years. It is practical, effective, economic and convenient and for these reasons it is widely accepted and practiced. In this book, the author has summarized his experiences and data compiled over many years of clinical practice. The author has selected more than 200 cases from medicine, surgery, gynecology, pediatrics, ophthalmology, tozhinolarynology, and dermatology. Clinical manifestations, treatments and remarks are described for each disease. Acupuncture point prescriptions and acupuncture manipulations are provided given the author's experience in selecting points and manipulations according to clinical features. All of the diseases presented in the book are named with both Western and Chinese medicine terms. The last section of the book presents the author's understanding of the concept of Bu (reinforcing) and Xie (reducing) and their accompanying manipulation methods. This volume is intended as a clinical reference for medical professionals.
